Getting Started

Gym League is a released free Roblox bodybuilding incremental from 1v2 Studios. You do not wait for a launch date. Search the Roblox title, join an eight-player server, and you are on Beach Gym. The first session is a short loop: claim codes, learn the left HUD, rotate machines until every muscle sits at 100% on Stats, buy Shredded from the Shop, pose in one competition, then keep grinding toward Tan so you can leave Beach. This page is that loop. The full look table is on Body Alters. The eight-gym ladder is on Gym Unlocks.

Join the live game

Open Roblox, load Gym League, and land on Beach. The place is free. Online competitions run on the same eight-player servers; this is not split-screen. Private servers exist if you later want an empty posing floor, but a public Beach server is fine for the first hour. If the experience feels empty, hop servers until you see other lifters. If it feels packed, that only matters when you walk into a posing event, which we cover below and in the competition guide.

Claim the daily login while you are still in the spawn area. Day one often pays around $250, which is enough to take pressure off the first machine clicks. Then open Codes. Do not start a long Beach grind with unused potions sitting in a tweet you have not redeemed.

Left HUD and simple controls

Training is click or tap. Walk or thumbstick to a machine, sit, and press until that muscle group moves. You do not need a special combo. Roblox movement gets you between racks; the gym work is the click.

The left HUD is the whole beginner interface:

  • Shop — Body Alters, and later the cash sinks you actually need. You buy looks here when Total Power, 100% muscles, and cash line up.
  • Aura — rolls and the toggle for the cash multiplier you already own. Skip rolling on minute one; read Auras after Shredded.
  • Stats — muscle percentages and Total Power. This panel is how you know you are done with a machine.
  • Custom — appearance options that do not replace a Body Alter.
  • Gym — travel between floors you have unlocked. On day one this only lists Beach.
  • Codes — typically bottom-left, under Gym. Type a code exactly and submit. Full steps live on how to redeem codes. Paste from the codes list so you do not mistype a gift.

Open Stats before you grind. If a group is already 100%, stand up. Sitting on a finished machine wastes the session. Rotate chest, back, legs, arms, and every other group the Beach floor offers until the panel is full. Stamina can wait. Stamina is not required to complete a Body Alter. Muscles at 100%, Total Power, and cash are the three checks.

Redeem codes before you grind

Codes pay potions, meals, and cash that cut Beach time. Redeem them in the first five minutes, then train. A potion you redeem after you already sat on a machine for twenty minutes is a wasted boost window. Keep the codes hub open on a second screen, or screenshot the active list, because gifts expire. After you submit, check inventory and use the consumables while you rotate equipment.

Train every muscle to 100%

Beach equipment is weak compared with later gyms, which is why you should not live here. It is still enough to reach the first power gate if you rotate. Pick a machine, click until that muscle hits 100% on Stats, then move. Do not bounce off a machine at 40% because another rack looks busier. Finish the group, then change.

Total Power climbs as muscles fill. Shredded wants 750 Total Power plus the 100% muscle rule plus the shop price. If power is short, you are still missing groups or you hopped off too early. If power is fine and the Shop still refuses, a muscle is not actually at 100%. Open Stats and scan the list instead of buying more Beach time on a finished lift.

Cash for the first look comes from the daily, codes, quests on the quest tab and from NPCs, and even a lost posing event. You do not need a Robux pack to afford Shredded. Optional packs exist (about $3,500 for 49 Robux and larger bundles above that), but the free loop is the intended first session. Spend order is on How to Make Money.

Buy Shredded when the shop allows it

Normal is the default body. Gold is a VIP or Robux look, not the free next step. The first prestige you should plan for is Shredded at 750 power. Open Shop, confirm muscles are 100%, confirm Total Power, confirm cash, and buy. Completing the alter is the unlock. Cash in the pocket with a 70% chest does nothing.

After Shredded, the next free target is Tan at 2,500 power. Tan is the look that opens Underground Gym. That is when you leave Beach. Shredded itself does not open a new floor; it is the first prestige so the rest of the ladder can start. Keep rotating Beach machines only until Tan completes, then walk through the gym door. Details and the rest of the order (Slate, Concrete, Rock, Metal, Shiny, Steel, and onward) sit on Body Alters.

Enter your first competition

Before you tunnel on Tan, enter one posing event. School comps and other bodybuilding contests pay even when you lose. That payout is part of the first-session cash plan. Pose quality, oils, your Body Alter, and any aura you already have all matter. On an eight-player server, fewer rivals on stage is easier. If the lobby is full of later alters, hop or use a private server later; do not rage-quit the mode. You are here to collect the participation cash and to learn the pose flow. Deep strategy is on Competitions.

If you already rolled a cheap Common aura, toggle it on from the left Aura menu before you pose. If you have not rolled, do not dump the Shredded budget into the ~$1,500 roll yet. Alter first, aura second.

When to leave Beach Gym

Leave Beach the moment Tan is complete and Underground is open. Later gyms have much higher strength per click. Every extra minute on starter weights after that door opens is a slower path to Rock, Steel, and the rest. If Tan is not done, stay on Beach, keep rotating, and keep posing. Do not teleport out of Beach because you are bored at 80% muscles; the door is the alter, not a feeling.

First-session checklist:

  1. Join the live Roblox place on an eight-player server.
  2. Claim daily login (often about $250 on day one).
  3. Redeem every working code from the bottom-left Codes button.
  4. Open Stats; rotate Beach machines until every muscle is 100%.
  5. Ignore stamina as an alter requirement.
  6. Buy Shredded at 750 Total Power when cash and muscles line up.
  7. Pose in one competition, even if you lose.
  8. Push Tan at 2,500, then leave Beach for Underground.

When that list is done, switch articles: Body Alters for the shop order, Gym Unlocks for the floors, How to Make Money for cash, Competitions for posing, and Auras for rolls. The Guides Hub is the map if you need a different chapter. Come back here only if a friend is installing the game and needs the same first hour.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Gym League questions.

Do I need stamina at 100% before I buy Shredded?

No. Stamina is not required for Body Alters. Buy when Total Power, 100% muscles, and the shop price are met. The Body Alters page repeats this rule for later looks.

Where is the Codes button on the Gym League HUD?

Codes sits on the left stack, typically bottom-left under Gym. Type the gift exactly and submit. Walkthrough: how to redeem codes.

Should I stay on one Beach machine until I prestige?

No. Open Stats and rotate. Once a muscle is 100%, that machine is finished. Parking on a completed lift does not buy Shredded faster.

When do I actually leave Beach Gym?

When Tan completes and Underground opens. Shredded is the first prestige; Tan at 2,500 power is the gym door. See Gym Unlocks.

Is Gym League free to play, or do I need Robux on day one?

It is free to play on Roblox. Cash packs and Gold (VIP or Robux) are optional. Do not spend Robux on packs before you finish the Beach loop on How to Make Money.
